Rimdan Chabahar border, located 120 km east of Chabahar, was established in 2010, and in September 2016, it was upgraded to an official border crossing. Due to its proximity to Pakistani commercial centers (Karachi and Gwadar ports), the border has the potential to play a strategic role in trade between the two countries.
With a distance of only 650 km from the port of Karachi, Pakistan's largest commercial and economic center, the Rimdan border enjoys a privileged position to expand trade with that country.
Khash Cement Factory, 467 km away, is the closest cement factory to this border.
