Mehran Border

This border is located in Mehran city, one hundred kilometers southwest of Ilam city, Ilam province. Mehran, which was recognized as an international border by the United Nations in 2003 at the suggestion of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is one of the main and busiest borders in Iran due to its proximity to religious cities in Iraq. In addition to construction materials, the pipeline exports a wide range of goods (from machinery, electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment to textiles, agricultural products, health products, fruits and other industrial products) to Iraq .

Ilam Cement factories (121 km)
Saman Gharb Cement factories (247 km)
and Gharb Cement factories (287 km) are the closest cement factories to the Mehran border, respectively.
